The altar arrangement uses birds of paradise, glads, and other flowers represent the flames of the Holy Spirit. A touch of blue larkspur indicates the hottest part of the flame.
The bride wanted a "garden look" and specifically asked for black eyed susans. The Viking mums were the closest thing that looked like a black eyed susan.
The bride chose the orange and lime green scheme - nice! The trumpet vases were filled with water and a green dendrobium orchid was put down in the water. Other orchids were used in the arrangement. A plate was placed (and taped) on the top to hold the oasis for the flowers.
