Flower Guild members arrive at 8 am to start making the flower arrangements. We do the altar, Paschal Candle holder, lectern, windows, crucifer, font, narthex, back of the church, and front doors. We also adorn the statue along the sidewalk to the Parish Hall and inside the Parish Hall. People are seated in the Parish Hall when we over flow the seating in the Chapel. We have to get finished by 1 pm so the Altar Guild can arrive and do their work.

Preparing for Easter - April 9, 10 and 11, 2009

Preparations for the actual day of making the flower arrangements starts with picking up the flowers at the wholesale florist and the lilies at the wholesale nursery. Flowers are taken to the Flower Guild room and sorted and organized. The window prototype arrangement is made.
